Olympic Reading Theme!

Our School Committees have planned many exciting activities for our students during the 2010 Olympic Games as we join Vancouver and the rest of the worlds in celebrating! We will be starting out with a 4 week Reading Theme. We have an assembly planned for 11:30 on Monday, January 18th where we will get a chance to meet Linda (who proudly will be carrying the torch during the Medicine Hat "leg" of the journey to Vancouver this Sunday) and see a real "torch". The students have a personalized passport which contains 'bonus activities' which may be completed for the chance to win prizes, as well as reading slips which will earn reward activities as they "Go For The Gold" in Reading! Watch for the reading slips coming home by Monday night!
